Leena Tauk
Qualifications:
Physiotherapist, level 6 – E004725;
Adult educator, level 5 – 233947.
I am the founder of Sävira OÜ, a licensed physiotherapist, and an adult educator. My passion is to support people on their journey toward recovery, personal development, and returning to working life. I hold a bachelor’s degree in physiotherapy from the University of Tartu and am currently pursuing a master’s degree in organizational behavior at Tallinn University, specializing in healthcare organizations.
I have worked in rehabilitation teams both as a specialist and as a coordinator, which has given me experience in direct client work as well as in managing teams and processes. Since graduating from university, I have supported adults, children, and people with special needs by providing physiotherapy, individual counseling, and home visits. I have a particular professional interest in neurology and early rehabilitation, especially in post-stroke patients. In my work, I value trust, an individual approach, and active therapeutic methods that help clients participate consciously in their own development.
In addition to client work, I conduct trainings and consultations. I provide training in the following areas:
- Work skills development and return-to-work support – building confidence and work ability;
- Health promotion – movement and lifestyle habits, stress reduction;
- Injury and disease prevention – practical skills and knowledge for maintaining health.
✨ As a trainer and specialist, I believe that learning is always a mutual process — I learn as much from participants and clients as they do from me. I believe that shared experiences and meaningful discussions create the best foundation for genuine development. ✨

My Competencies
💪 As a Physiotherapist
I graduated from the University of Tartu in Physiotherapy (2018) and have worked with adults, children, and people with special needs in rehabilitation teams as well as in private practice. This experience has provided me with comprehensive knowledge in movement, rehabilitation, and health promotion, along with the ability to see a person as a whole — across physical, psychological, and social dimensions. These experiences also gave me the confidence and skills necessary to create and develop my own practice. In my work, I follow evidence-based guidelines (e.g. WHO, National Institute for Health Development) and continuously improve my knowledge through various trainings and international sources (e.g. ScienceDirect, International Journal of Physiotherapy). I am a member of the Estonian Physiotherapists’ Association.
🤝 As an Employment Specialist
In recent years, I have worked in the field of vocational rehabilitation and return-to-work support. I assist individuals who wish to find suitable employment, restore their work capacity, or increase their confidence in the labour market. My role is to help identify and overcome barriers — whether physical, psychological, or social — and to provide guidance on work documentation, job searching, legislation, self-presentation, workplace assessment, and employer consultation. I value collaboration and believe that every person can work to the best of their ability when provided with a supportive environment.
🎓 As an educator
As a trainer, I support adult learning and development in topics related to health, work skills, and personal growth. I follow adult learning principles (Knowles, Kolb, Vygotsky), always connect theory with practice, and create an environment where participants can share their experiences and apply new skills immediately. I emphasize the value of each learner, a safe atmosphere, and practical benefits from every training session. I have designed and delivered training programmes on movement, health promotion, and work-related skills.
